How do I order online?
Visit our menu page, browse items, add to cart, and checkout. Pay securely with Square. We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Cash App Pay.
How does pickup work?
After placing your order, head to 4401 Airline Dr Suite A, Metairie, LA 70001. ASAP orders are typically ready in about 15 minutes. Bring your order confirmation.
Can I schedule an order ahead of time?
Yes! During checkout, choose "Schedule for Later" and pick a date and time within the next 7 days during business hours.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Cash App Pay through Square's secure payment system.
Is there a minimum order amount?
No minimum order. Order as much or as little as you'd like.
How long does a pickup order take at Yami?
Most pickup orders are ready in about 15 to 20 minutes after you place them online. During busy lunch and dinner hours, it may take a few extra minutes. You can also schedule your order ahead of time if you want it ready at a specific time.

What kind of cuisine do you serve?
Japanese-Cajun fusion: hibachi plates (chicken, shrimp, steak), poboys (including our signature hibachi poboys), and sushi rolls (classic and specialty).
Do you have vegetarian or gluten-free options?
Yes. Our menu includes vegetarian hibachi with mixed vegetables and veggie fried rice. For gluten-free needs, hibachi plates without soy-based sauces are a great option. Let us know about dietary restrictions when ordering.
What's the difference between the lunch and dinner menu?
Lunch specials are available until 3 PM and feature smaller portions at reduced prices. After 3 PM, the full dinner menu applies. The full menu is available all day.
What comes with a hibachi plate?
Every hibachi plate includes your choice of protein (chicken, shrimp, flank steak, or combo), plus a side of fried rice, noodles, salad, or fries, all prepared fresh on the grill.
Does Yami Hibachi have gluten-free options?
Yes! Our hibachi plates can be prepared without soy-based sauces on request. We also offer several sushi rolls that are naturally gluten-free, as well as house salads and steamed vegetables. Let us know about your dietary needs when ordering.

Do you deliver directly?
We currently focus on pickup orders through our website. For delivery, you can order through our third-party delivery partners.
What delivery apps can I use?
We're available on DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Postmates. You can find links on our homepage.
What's the delivery area?
Delivery areas are set by each delivery platform. Generally, they cover Metairie, Kenner, and parts of New Orleans.
Can I order sushi for pickup in Metairie?
Absolutely. You can order any of our sushi rolls (classic, specialty, or combo) through our website for pickup at our Airline Drive location in Metairie. Your rolls are prepared fresh when you order.
